Well, another night in ICU....not necessarily because of dad's progress, but because there is not a room in "step down" where he is supposed to go according to Dr. Holmes' orders. So, visiting hours ended at 9 and we said good night to him. The nurse is to call us IF he gets in a room during the night so that we can come see him early. Otherwise, we are not allowed back in ICU until tomorrow morning at 9:30. As our second full day comes to a close, we continue to praise God for all that he has done and lift up prayers for dad's physical and emotional healing. Good night....

I've been checking a couple of times each day and am so glad to hear that things have gone smoothly. I know he's so thankful for and comforted by your presence there. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for you all once he's in a room. Keeping you guys lifted up,

Hello to the Smith family....tell Ernie we are sending up some "Good" prayer for him and send our love. I know how miserable pain after surgery is and it feels like you will never be better but things do get better. God helps us through the rough times and with family around for love and support Ernie is in great hands. Give Pat a hug for me.

i am so glad everything went well. ive heard a little here and there but didnt want to call and bother anyone during this time, so i have just prayed. i am so glad you have made this to keep us informed and updated.
